The Spirit Chronicles TV anime was developed by Riv and is based on a series of Japanese light novels by author Yuri Kitayama. The story centres on Haruto Amakawa, a 20-year-old college student who perished in a fatal car accident.
When Rio’s past lives collide, he gains abilities beyond his wildest dreams. His need for revenge over his mother’s death drives him to take advantage of this chance to rise in society.
The first episode of the anime aired on July 6, 2021, and was met with early criticism for having a standard isekai plot and a stereotypically dominating protagonist.
Despite this, the season finale’s ratings and viewership were sufficiently strong to provide hope for a second season.

The show will not be back for a little while longer. Prior release plans indicated that the first season will be released in July 2021, after being announced in November 2020. Episodes from Season 2 will premiere in either July or October of 2022.
Anime Spoilers (a Synopsis of the Second Season of Seirei Gensouki)
In order to replenish his supplies and learn more about the hero summonings, Rio visits the trading city of Amande after successfully saving Celia from her forced political marriage to the wicked noble Charles Arbor. However, one of Rio’s main objectives is to find Lucius Orgueille, the guy who sexually abused and then killed Rio’s mother Karasuki Ayame.
Rio tries to get entry to the Claire mansion so he may fulfil Celia’s desire and tell her father she is safe. While he and Aishia and Celia are living on the borders of Amande, Celia is always surprised by his Spirit Art, spatial storage magic, and moveable dwelling. He even lets Celia in on his secret life as a Japanese university student, but all she can think about is how much older in mind he is than she is.
Similarly, Liselotte Cretia encounters Princess Flora and Sakata, the hero of Beltrum, on her journey back to Amande following Celia’s cancelled wedding. Reiss has sent creatures to assault the waggon.
Naturally, Rio/Haruto saves the day, delivering Liselotte from the clutches of the minotaurs. Then, Rio, ever the hero, leads the way to their goal.
Ensemble Performers of Season 2 of Seirei Gensouki
Seirei Gensouki Season 2 centres on Haruto Amakawa and Rio’s exploration of Spirit Chronicles Season 1. Haruto, a young guy from Japan, was killed in a car accident. In his dream, Rio lost his mother and is now an orphan.
They’re linked because at first glance, the two protagonists seem to be interchangeable or to have a similar mindset. Once Haruto’s identity and past are revealed to Rio, he will likely take over as Haruto’s successor.
